Amnesty International condemns for Removing Turkish Educators in Pakistan

Champa Patel, the director of the South Asia chapter of Amnesty International, spoke harshly about the choice to remove over 100 educators from schools in Pakistan simply because they were Turkish.
Amnesty International (AI) condemns Pakistan for Removing Turkish Educators

Patel spoke about how this will further hurt the educational system in Pakistan which is already struggling with a lack of educators and with a high rate of youth that do not attend school.

Amnesty International said Pakistan’s schools struggle with hiring and keeping educators, so choosing to remove the Turkish educators simply because of their politics and the wishes of the government of Turkey. Amnesty International said the country needs to focus on fixing the educational system, not politics.

This decision by the Pakistan government will be reviewed in a future meeting as will several other important issues affecting the country. Other important issues that Pakistan officials will be discussing include how the country handles their confidential materials when they need to be printed and the possibility of creating an in house printing organization to handle classified documents. Other issues regarding confidential information that will be discussed include providing see through boxes for ballots to be stored during elections and providing voters with privacy when they vote.

Removing Turkish educators in Pakistan is a call for  Pakistan’s education emergency. This situation can be dangerous in the prospects of Pakistan’s education.
