Entering House Dua

Entering house dua is a great way to pray Allah Subhana hu wa Ta’ala for every goodness while entering and exiting of our house.  Dua entering home is as follows:

اللَّهُمَّ  اِنِّي اَساَلُكَ خَيرَ المَولِجِ وَخَيرَ المَخرَجِ

بِسمِ اللهِ وَلَجنَا، وَبِسمِ اللهِ خَرَجنَا، وَعَلَى اللهِ رَبِّنَا تَوَكَّلنَا

Abu Dawud 4:325

Dua Entering Home in English

Nabi Sallalla Hu Alaihi Wassallam taught us Amaal of every moment of our life. A person goes out of his house return back to his house many times a day. Entering house dua is a great way to remember Allah every time he/she enters his/her home.

Allah huma inni asalu ka khair al mau laji wa khairal makhraji

Bismillah hi walajna wa

Bismillah hi Kharajna

Wa’alal la hi rabbina tawaqalna

Entering Home Dua Translation

Here is translation of entering home dua :

O Allah, I ask of you the good of entering and the good of leaving (home). By the name of Allah we enter and by the name of Allah we leave, and upon our Lord we place our trust.

Ghar May Dakhil Honay Ki Dua

گھر میں داخل ہونے کی دعا

اے اللہ میں تجھ سے گھر کے اندر آنے اور گھر سے باہر جانے کی خیر و برکت کا سوال کرتا ہوں۔

ہم اللہ کے نام کے ساتھ ہی گھر میں آتے ہیں اور اللہ کے نام کے ساتھ ہی گھر سے جاتے ہیں

اور اپنے پروردگار اللہ تعالیٰ پر ہی ہمیں بھروسہ ہے۔

Conclusion

Whenever a person enters his home, he either takes blessings (barakaat) of Allah or bad fortune (“Bay Barkati”) with him in his home.  These duas a causes of blessings for a Muslim. Similarly, when a person go out, he should first recite dua for leaving the house. This will protect him from any mishab during his travel.
