• Matric annual examination will start from 28th March 2016
• Intermediate annual examination will start from 28th April 2016
• New session in schools will start from April 1, 2016.
• The results of Class 10 will be announced by July 15 by all boards of Sindh and result of Karachi board will be announced by July 31.
• New session in colleges will start from August 1, 2016.
• Summer vacations from June 1, 2016 to July 31, 2016
• Winter vacations from December 22, 2016 to January  1, 2017.
• 12 Rab-ul-Awal  holiday will be observed
• Kashmir Day on February 05, 2016
• Pakistan Day on March 23, 2016
• Labour Day on May 01, 2016
• Independence Day on August 14, 2016
• Iqbal Day on November 09, 2016
• Shab-e-Mairaj, Shab-e-Barrat, Eidul Fitar, Eid-ul- Azha, Ashura, will also be observed holidays.
• There will be no promotion without exams till 3rd standard in schools.
• SECCAP admissions for 1st Year College (HSC Part-I) will start from August 1, 2016.
• Matric Board is bound to release the matric annual result until July 31, 2016
• This year November 9, 2016 (Iqbal Day) included as a public holiday.
