Hajj Policy 2025 announcedMinister of Religious Affairs, Government of Pakistan, will  announce Hajj Policy for the year 2025.  Selected Banks will start receiving Hajj applications from December 2025.

The last date of applying for Hajj will be announced soon.

Hajj 2025 Total Cost

The total charges are from  PKR. 1,075,000 (Rs.10 lac 75 thousand) to PKR.1,175,000 (Rs.11 lac 75 thousand). All the pilgrims also have to pay Rs.55,000 for the sacrifice of an animal (Qurbani). This additional amount for sacrifice animal (qurbani) will be charged at the time of payment. Ministry of Hajj did not change the rates this year for the convenience pilgrims. Moreover, the Government has provided a facility to the Pilgrms to pay the total amount in installments.

Installments

  1. Rs.200,000 (2 lac) is required to submit at the time of application.
  2. Rs. 400,000 (4 lac) is required to pay within 14 days of acceptance of application
  3. Remaining amount is payable from 1st February to 10th February 2025

Total Quota for Hajj 2025

Quota for Government Pilgrims

Total quota for Hajj this year is decided as 179,210 – One Hundred Seventy Nine Thousand Two Hundred and ten (1 lac 79 thousand 2 hundred and 10).  In Government scheme the selection will be made through computerized balloting. In balloting, those people will be preferred who are going for Hajj for the first time. 5000 hajis can go through dollar scheme in government scheme.

Quota for Private Pilgrims

Half quota for private pilgrims. There is 30,000 quota which will be based on sponsorship. They will send foreign currency in this case.

Short Package

Short package is allowed in government scheme this year. A haji can go for hajj for 20 to 25 days tour.

Restrictions

Children under 12 years are not allowed to go for hajj.

People with some severe disease like severe heart patients, dialysis patients, cancer patients, TB patients etc will not allow to go for hajj

Nazim

There will be a Nazim of every 100 pilgrims.

Hajj App

A special Hajj Management App is developed to facilitate the pilgrims.  The pilgrims will be given training through different training programs.

The passport of the applicant must have validity up to February 20, 2025.  All the hujjaj will be provided 5 litr Zam Zam on their return to Pakistan on the airport.

The selective branches of following 13 banks will receive the hajj applications from December 2024.
