The Pakistan Army has recently spent a week distributing textbooks in the Kohlu district, as part of the Chamalang Balochistan Education Programme,
Over 3,000 students within the district received a free book, based on the year’s syllabus. The books were given out in mid-April by 41 Division of the Army, in order to better equip state school students for the new academic year.
The Chamalang Balochistan Education Programme has delivered an education to over 4,000 students, both in the province and across the country more broadly.
A spokesperson of the public relations team of the army advised that the military has annually spent over Rs85 million, covering the cost of school fees, uniforms, books and other assistance for these students.
